These are the three possible error values specified by POSIX. Resolving
the symbols makes the error far clearer. Other errors are still
supported, but fall back to integers.

While it was nice, the most important part was the multi-valued let from
srfi-71 (which is implemented in srfi-71)). The minor pattern matching
structures could often be replaced with car+cdr, or a propper match.

Guile really needs to have better way to get the native width of a
pointer. Creating a symbol from a sizeof is nothing but ugly.
